At St Joseph’s Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive in their learning journey. Our dedicated teachers deliver high-quality, engaging programs that nurture the intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social, and physical growth of each student.
To support diverse learning needs, students have access to specialised professionals in areas such as special education, psychology, occupational therapy, and speech pathology.
We strive to maintain an inclusive learning environment that aligns with the Disability Discrimination Act (1992) and the Disability Standards for Education (2005). Every student is encouraged to participate fully in school life and to experience success in both learning and social settings. Guided by Gospel values of respect, equality, and social justice, we embrace purposeful inclusion within a Christian context—celebrating each learner’s unique gifts, abilities, and potential.

How does learning support work?
Schools utilise their learning support resources to respond to the individual needs of each student. Adjustments are developed in partnership with parents and carers and are regularly reviewed to ensure their effectiveness and to determine whether further modifications are required.
The Learning Support Team serves as the initial point of contact for families. This team includes key staff members who work together to assist students with disabilities and those requiring additional learning support.
